FAQ for Silicone DBPH (Double 25) Vulcanizing Agent
A: Double 25 is a high-temperature peroxide vulcanizing agent for solid silicone rubber. It is also called DBPH, widely used for silicone compression molding to cross-link silicone molecules and improve hardness, toughness and stability.
A: The normal molding temperature is165℃-185℃. Secondary baking temperature is 200℃-220℃ to remove peroxide residue.
A: It is suitable for common solid silicone products: silicone keypads, silicone tubes, silicone seals, silicone bonded PC parts, daily silicone accessories and industrial silicone rubber parts.
- Low odor and low volatile residue
- High transparency and no yellowing
- Good tensile strength and elasticity
- Stable vulcanization speed for mass production
- Excellent weather resistance and aging resistance
Q5: What is the mixing dosage ratio?
A: Standard dosage is 1.2% - 2.5% according to silicone hardness and product thickness. Easy to mix and disperse evenly.
Q7: Is Double 25 environmentally friendly?
A: Yes. It complies with RoHS, REACH and FDA standards. Non-toxic, pollution-free, suitable for food-grade and electronic-grade silicone products.
A: Double 25 has lower odor, better transparency, less yellowing and safer storage. It is more suitable for high-end silicone products than Double 4 vulcanizing agent.
Q9: How to store DBPH vulcanizing agent?
A: Keep sealed, away from direct sunlight, store below 25℃. Avoid high temperature and strong compression to ensure safe storage.
Q10: Can Double 25 be used for silicone bonding PC products?
